Born and raised in Victoria, Karen started volunteering at her first vet clinic in 1995, and within two years she had her first job! She has worked continuously in the veterinary industry since then, including her summer breaks from university. She has held veterinary assistant and receptionist positions, and over the past 13 years has developed her skills and training as first a canine massage therapist and then a rehabilitation technician.
Karen specializes in supporting patients with mobility issues and weight management, and loves to work with clients to help them carry out treatment plans customized to their companion’s specific situation. Karen joined the ELVH team in 2021, and is excited to be part of a team that advocates for the best possible medicine for their patients. She enjoys developing personal relationships with clients and patients, knowing that these partnerships of trust are a key part of keeping their furry family members healthy and happy.
