OUR HISTORY

Established in 1965, Elk Lake Veterinary Hospital was remodeled in 1988 and again in 2006. Our modern surgical and medical facility houses our full-service small animal practice where our team provides exceptional care to companion animals. We are located within 15-20 minutes of most of Greater Victoria. Elk Lake Veterinary Hospital serves the communities of southern Vancouver Island which are located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Lkwungen (Esquimalt and Songhees), Malahat, Pacheedaht, Scia’new, T’Sou-ke and W̱SÁNEĆ (Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tsawout, Tseycum) peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to live and work in this special place.
